Cancellation and Refund Policy:
We require 30 days' notice in writing for any cancellation request to be eligible for a refund. Cancellation requests received more than 30 days before the start of the camp session will be refunded minus the $75 non-refundable deposit. Cancellation requests received less than 30 days prior to the start of the camp session are not eligible for a refund of any fees paid unless there is a medical reason for the cancellation and a note from a medical provider is provided. Changes Due to Medical Emergency:
Should a medical emergency arise prior to camp check-in, your camper can be transferred to a later session, depending on availability, at no charge. If the camp is transferred, we will waive the $25 transfer fee. Transferring or requesting a refund due to a medical reason can only be made with a note from medical personnel. You must notify us no later than the first day of your camper's session of any illness in order to reschedule or receive a refund. Refunds will not be processed until all documentation is received. All refunds are subject to a $75 cancellation fee. To request a cancellation or refund, please email customercare@gsctx.org.
Transfer Policy:
Transfer requests are subject to a $25 transfer fee. To request a change or session transfer:
- January 11-21, 2024: We are unable to make changes to lottery forms that have been submitted during this time period. If you need to make a change, please submit a new lottery form. You will need to pay an additional $75 deposit and this will be applied to the balance due for the camp session that your camper gets registered into.
- January 22-30: No change requests will be accepted during this time.
- January 30 – February 5: Transfer requests should be submitted through the lottery transfer request form. A link to this form can be found in the email dated January 30. Transfer and cancellation fees will be waived during this time.
- February 6, 2024: From this point on until two weeks prior to the start of your camper’s session, email customercare@gsctx.org to request a change or session transfer.
The $25 transfer fee will be waived if a transfer request is due to the Girl Scout moving off a waitlist for one session and wanting to release their secured spot in another session, and transfer payments from that session to the session that came off the waitlist.
